E & K both are both college instructors teaching courses in a wide variety of anthropological sub-disciplines. E teaches college classes in ethnomusicology and ethnography, and K teaches classes in archaeology and food cultures. While we each approach our work in very different ways, we share an interest in learning about historic and contemporary people and the cultures within which they live.
We are also both avid foodies and share a deep love of food, cooking, and food cultures. E is primarily the baker in their relationship, while K is a spectacular cook. The two often dream about abandoning the academic lifestyle and moving into the food industry. While this likely will never happen, this blog was created as an outlet for us to combine our interest in people & cultures with our love of food & cooking. And to do so in a relaxed and collaborative environment.
